Two Steppin

Well, we don't think Ruby is far off walking. She has this week started taking two or three steps between furniture and possibly a few more to get to mummy or daddy - mummy counted 6 steps yesterday.

Ruby is doing a lot of standing on her own and is walking around the furniture now like she doesn't need it. She is really confident when holding your hand/finger and takes off to almost a run. This morning Ruby had Grandma Dianne and mummy in stitches as she was stepping between the T.V. and the couch, would stop in the middle dance up and down to the song that was on the radio and then continue on her way. She can't just learn to walk she has to dance as well.

The latest and probably one of the only things Ruby is saying at the moment is 'WOW'. Everything is wow. She loves Grandma Sheila's Christmas tree and points and says wow everytime you walk past it or near it. You pick her up from the floor and she says wow - like the new height she is at is amazing. The Christmas lights, wow; Christmas Cards, wow; even her drink bottle, wow.

On the teeth front, Ruby's top two molars are now looking very close and are swollen in her gums. We were also told this morning by the nurse that her canine teeth are in her gums as well, they just aren't looking as close or as sore as the molars. Poor muffin, no wonder she isn't sleeping very well at night.

Mummy and Ruby have been having discussions this week about her sleeping. Mummy told Ruby that there would be no chance of her getting a brother if she doesn't start sleeping at night. So far, Ruby hasn't shown any interest in getting a brother.

The family is off this weekend to go camping for the xmas holidays. Yep, we are in a tent. Please everyone pray for good weather. For the regular readers, this will be the last post until we get back in January, expect a huge update that week.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, from Mummy, Daddy and Ruby.
