Another year already!! It's crazy how much Ruby has grown, changed, learnt and developed in the last 12 months.
She is now potty trained, talking, counting to 5 and she knows her left from her right - most of this she started doing in just the last few weeks. She has gone from her cot to the big bed, stopped breastfeeding and paddles with arms and kicks in the pool(assisted) like a pro. Her hair has gone curly, she is slimming down (a little) and she continues to get taller.
If she keeps this up, we'll be sending her to school next year.
Ruby's birthday seemed to go on and on. The day started with the viewing of her present from mum and dad - her new room! (video in her album). Then a trip to the nurse to get all her measurements done.
Height - 92cm
Weight - 13.6kg
We then headed to the park for a play date with Grandma Dianne, Isabelle, Maddie, Aunty Emma and Uncle Jamie.
After an exhausting morning you would think that Ruby would be quite happy to have an afternoon nap in her new room while mummy got organised with work and the plans for the rest of the week. But no, by 5pm and still no sleep Ruby was absolutely feral and the planned trip to the beach that afternoon was getting later and later. Eventually after a visit to Grandma Sheila and Great Grandma Alice, we hit the road for the caravan at 6:30pm. Ruby finally crashed half way to the beach.
The next day was magic. Family day at Kingscliff should be on the agenda more often!
Then Saturday was party day. Just family this year. Mummy made a beach themed cake and girls had a great time beating each other up on the trampoline.
Massive apologies for the delay in posting, things are looking promising time wise, with hopefully some big news for mummy in a few weeks, so more and more posts very soon.
There are an enormous amount of photos from Ruby's birthday week - all photos and videos have been uploaded to her album.
